Our Focus
Working with our partners Von Ardenne and Rena Technologies, MSolar plans to design and build a manufacturing facility to create the solar cells needed to manufacture 4 million premium tempered glass-glass mono-crystalline solar panels, annually. Currently, almost 98% of solar cells are imported annually from Southeast Asia. This factory will significantly decrease our dependence on foreign suppliers and streamline our supply chain.
Heterojunction solar cells are the most efficient solar cells manufactured in the current market. Efficiency rates are close to 27%.
Vertically integrating the manufacturing of our own solar cells saves over $350M annually and reduces our supply chain risk from sourcing this product from Southeast Asia!
Manufacturing solar cells internally will allow us to transition from a manufacturer of solar panels to an energy producer!
